Well Newton Faulkner was awesome - any chap who totters down the stairs to the stage, teapot in hand wearing odd (one stripes, one patterned) and no shoes - will always get my vote :-)
Mr cheery would have been most proud!
Of course he also has fine Celtic flamed hair too.Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.
Total debt as of 28/4/19 £7867.38:eek:

Morning!
Have to confess I'd never heard of Newton Faulkner, had to look him up. In the video on his website he's wearing odd stripey socks too, and drinking tea!
Well it's a bit dreary here today, and chilly, but at least it isn't raining right now; was pouring down yesterday again. Today will be mostly a domestic day as have friends coming for the weekend.
Yesterday I excavated right to the bottom of the freezer and found that the last few layers consist of rhubarb, gooseberries, rhubarb, jostaberries, gooseberries... oh and a few more gooseberries. So our friends will be eating some of those in one form or another, and then I'm looking for inspiration for a change from gooseberry crumble or cake (we don't really need any more gooseberry jam or wine either). On that note I also need to prune the bushes, but it's still a bit wet to be walking around on the soil.
What's everyone else doing?0 -
I've never heard of Newton Faulkner either but if he likes tea and stripey socks he gets my vote! :j

I'm unfortunately poorly sick - came home with a bit of a tickle and how I'm proper spluttering and on the sofa in a cocoon.
