Good morning fine fellows and chums :-) how I've missed you!
Now adventures are all fine and good but they do somewhat interfere with normal life and diary chums. No Internet for a week in France was rather nice too - mr rg kept the fb updates going himself and as its nigh impossible to get Internet without paying for it - I declined on MSE grounds and playing scrabble with ds seemed a good substitute. We also played a mean game of 'scoring sugars (sachets) as legally as possible' so ended up the holiday in sugar profit. :-) its the small things in life......
Home via the east coast of both fine lands (apologies to Wales and its 'westerly location'. We had time with our bestestest clan folks.
Ferry yesterday was interesting, always lovely to have a police escort to great you when you return (stormy sea barriers, not just US back.)
Skootted to retreave cars and first hound, being senior peedie has certain privileges. Haggis returns when they open up the gates of his entrapment.
Reporting in with a cuppa and a snoring hound beside me.
I'll catch up properly later I promise.
I appreciate so very much the company on here - and the popping by I'll do a shout out later :-) hounds to perlounged first and rock gods to be distracted with new books on guitar techniques.
Today will be a scamp
Meal plan (food inventory all done)
Some quiet time
A bit of wood chopping/foraging
Store meals
Holiday budget review
Scales of doom - French food consumption mostly to blame for my saving pounds :-)
Look at pads - I paid another chunk to the unemployed penguin as his need is greater than the credit cards, not probably entirely efficient but humans (even penguin shaped ones) need funds too. We've negotiated a deal whereby I help eliminate the shortfall whilst he's out of contracts. Seems only fair I help him when he helped me in times of real need.
Right I must really blow this joint and collect a very excitable hound who's about to be busted from doggy pentonville.
Have a great one lovelies.
My new years resolution is to be mindful. So I will pop back later.Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.
