Off to the bank/library I pop and to a large supermarket to return their print cartridges which are making my machine have a hissy fit.

  • So I was given a box of this

    BRUNOST

No clue how to use it - but it does taste yummy.

    Free cheese is always good.

Off to finish invoices and stick them in the mail.

Throats a bit squeaky and weather forecast is shocking.

Supposed to be going on a plane on Fri, should be OK but .......

    Hmm.

Peedie pup's lodgings over xmas are secured for a lovely hamper and a smile :)

Awwww - you're not boring! You're focussed :) Brunost sounds really interesting, never even heard of it, very yummity yum :) If you make paneer, don't you end up with loads of whey spare? Could make paneer *then* make brunost! Permaculture roolz ok ....

I hope the winds are over by the time you need to set foot on your plane, Pippi - I'd certainly be paying attention to the weather forecasts, if I were in your shoes, eek. But we certainly don't want you to have a squeaky voice, no sirree. Squeakiness is banished <waves wand for Pippie to be squeak-free> :kisses3:

  • Ha focussed sounds better!

I'm not sure about the sweet cheese to be honest, its interesting!

Weather proper yuk here (thats an official met office term) flights today mostly cancelled, all boats off etc.

We'll see what tomorrow brings. I do like a good adventure but not if there's a chance I'll get stuck.

Must update banks etc - cancelled event this morning due to feeling really coldy (baby event) best keep clear I think. Have conference call later, but only if its safe to drive.

FRB is closed too I think - must be bad doon sooth.

    Keep warm chaps and safe.

Tis actually dire down here, though now better than earlier.
I seriously thought conservatory roof was going to come off earlier
    Stay safe
As you know it's not often FRB is totally closed

One debt remaining. Home improvement loan.
  • Its just nasty out there. Yikes to conservatory's roof's bid for freedom.

I hear all trains are off too. Yikes indeed. Its better here too I think, although by the look of it not much........

Keep warm - I do have to go out later but we'll see, I'm not a heroic driver.

Off to update the spreadsheets and take a bit of time to sort some wood for the fire. (in a snug garage)

    Keep warm and safe people!

Not boring at all - it's just when you're life is utterly steered and ruled by how hard the wind is blowing and whether it's carrying sideways rail/hail/snow with it it's hard NOT to comment on it. delivering leaflets in squalliness sounds like no fun - you take care of yourself Missus if your throat is threatening squeakiness. MrEH has had a positive stinker of a cold for the past week - he's got it on the run now though.

Glad DS is alright - LOL at growing hair too - I can't imagine him with other than short hair!

 To the wind up there at the moment - it's gusting away down here but nothing major - I think we peaked at about 55mph this morning. If the FRB is closed it must be [STRIKE]fairly severe[/STRIKE] bloomin' horrible! I know the Western Isles ferries were showing ALL amber warnings this morning, and when I last looked there were a few red crosses appearing too. Hope you're all sitting tight and not going anywhere unless you actually have to.
