That's good advice. I was planning to keep an emergency fund in the savings account linked to my current account, where I can move money between the two online and instantly. I know if it is in the savings pot it isn't for spending. But it is there if I need to put my hands on it immediately.
I know my bank has a financial adviser I can see for free, so it may be worth doing that in a few months' time to discuss longer term plans.Public appearances now involve clothing. Sorry, it's part of my bail conditions.0 -
