PCM / Newlyn letter

I think so. I did not keep them.0 -
So you also threw away the letters alleging you owed money? Even when we told people to 'ignore' last year, we never said throw letters away, we said 'file them'. Oh well, but you have missed another trick. You may have had grounds to complain to the BPA about the wording or timeline but that option is in the bin too.
So you can only really see out the Newlyn rubbish, as you never appealed and can't complain about the letters/Notices to the BPA either.
Let us know if you get a small claim to defend, open all letters and keep them.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I thought I had threon the Notice to Keeper away - but at the time I was distracted due to losing my job. I just found them in a place I would not normally put letters.0

Oh, can you show us a pic or scan of the NTK letters (and a pic of what one says on the back too)? We can check them for grounds to complain to the BPA.
Just cover the car reg and name/address and PCN number, and take a photo if you have no scanner. Host the pics on tinypic or photobucket and post a broken link here (newbies can't post working links yet). So remove the http:// from the URL like the Highview thread poster just did.PRIVATE 'PCN'? The letters are nearly identical.
Here is the front of one - i40.tinypic.com/2zxxs1v.jpg
And here is the back - i41.tinypic.com/el8zo9.jpg0 -
Pics of one of your PCM Notice to Keeper letters:

All I can see wrong is that (unless it uses the word on the top) they have not 'identified the creditor' which they should do. Were these both received within 56 days of the actual parking events? Between day 29 and day 56?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Yes - about 35 days.
There is no mention of a creditor.
The letters say that PCM are acting "as agent to the landowner", which I think indirectly they are. But as I am the landowner can't I just tell them to stop?0 -
Do you own the land freehold?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Okay so I know being chased by Newlyns for a PCN that I got back in March 2013. I don't want to give details for obvious reasons. I've had the Graham White letters and all the rest of the guff and just ignored (which I have kept all apart from the first letter).
What is the probability of Newlyns taking me to court? I've only had one letter and just wondering if its worth going down the paper trail option or just edging my bets and leaving it. How many people have actually been taken to court and prosecuted by Newlyns?0
