Some while ago North Meols Pharmacy were mentioned on M.S.E, I've since dealt with them several times and get packs of 30 cetirizine dihydochloride generic for £2.50. As far as I'm aware they are the one a day type. They also have all the other generic variants of clarytin, beconase etc

You could also pop into your local Lidl store. I have stocked up on Galpharm Non-Drowsy Hayfever & Allergy Relief tables. These are one-a-day box of 7 and only 89p.

As part of our campaign to provide MSE users with the cheapest hayfever prices, we are offering:

    Cetirizine 10mg Tablets x 30 (Zirtek) for £2.99
    Loratidine 10mg Tablets x 30 (Clarityn) for £2.99
    Chlorphenamine 4mg Tabs x 30 (Piriton) for £1.99
Beclomethasone Nasal Spray (200 Dose) Beconase for £3.99
    Liquid loratidine/chlorphenamine/cetirizine for £2.99 for 100ml bottles

    Branded products available upon request.

We aim to be the cheapest on the High Street. Anybody offering them cheaper, we aim to match.

All orders to be telephoned to 0870 950 9666 (Ask for Shamir). Credit card payments taken. (min payment £5)

I have discussed this with Martin and he's happy providing we are offering a saving on the High Street. I'm sure other MSE purchasers who used us last year can vouch for our service and prices.

I get the Sainsburys equivalent of Benadryl (not the lotradine/clarityn but the other long chemical name ones) at 99p for 7 days - work just as well. The lotradine ones are also this price but I find them less effective

I'll back this up - they are EXACTLY the same as branded items - my wife bought some for our son (she's a nurse) so always checks the own brand packets compared to the branded packets on all common drugs and we always end up buying the supermarket own brands as they are exactly the same at normally a third of the price.

Only the three a day ones help me and not one a day. I only take them as and when needed which doesn't always result in taking one every 8 hrs. Acrivistane is the medical name and the doctor prescribes a month's supply (counting 3 a day) on prescription for £6.50p so still cheaper than buying 3 for 2.

I can vouch for good quick service, but it should be pointed out that there was a £2 postage charge for my order of 60 tabs + 1 nasal spray so not sure how that compares with others.

Thanks for you tip about postage Purplepatch. That would make 30 Loratidine £4.99 if its £2 p&p. As I can buy 28 in Tesco fo r£3.96 or 28 in Wilkinson (currently on offer) for £2.98 only worth doing if you order a few months supply and p&p remain the same.

Tesco pharmacy is now doing 30 packs of Zirtec equivalent for £3.49. They don't currently stock the Clarityn equivalent in packs of 30 though.

Sorry, postage costs shouldn't have been charged. Will refund or will send additional tablets. Please telephone me to discuss. The staff got mixed up with our other internet sales.
