has anyone put their hanging baskets out yet, I mean for good i have done a load and they are all in the green house, normally they would be out by now but still worried about frosts has anyone seen a long range weather forecast

I have tried unsucessfully to kill all my fushia plants by cutting them and even pulling them out but they still keep coming!

I made up my hanging baskets last week but I haven't hung them yet. I like to keep them on the floor until they "settle in" because they often get damaged by the wind. If there is frost forecast I put an old net curtain over.
Having said all that, my neighbour hung her baskets out last week and they seem OK, and we're up north.

Hanging baskets should go out after all danger of frost has past - I think someone said on here it was cup final day. This week is particularly cold at night, but there's nothing stopping you hanging them up when it gets better and keeping an eye on the weather until the beginning of June.

Hi so am i, anyway noticed gardening man of the year for our area has hung his out, then so will i.
