Got a A Samsung D900, the display screen is goosed and showing nothing but whiteness. nyone got any idea of the best way to sort this out??? Is it just a matter of replacing the screen? where do I get a screen ? is it easy to replace? should I take it to a shop?

as long as it's still within 12 months guarantee take it to cpw they can repair it for free as long as it isn't accidental damage!Wondering how to have a life & not rack up more debts...0

not under any warranty, is it likely to be the ribbon or the full screen ? are they easy enough to replace? likely cost?

i would take it to a shop, as i nearly broke an old e800 trying to change the ribbon in it
the cable should be about £5-£100 -
there are two different versions of the d900 pcb, both use different ribbon cables, one has a connector on one end the other has not. before buying a ribbon, check which you need, we stock both if you need one.

I just opened the phone up and there was no ribbon, turns out the phone is a d800 and not a d900. Does this mean that i need the screen replaced???Don't ask me, Im SKINT0
