Hi the date on the original letter is not there, so unsure on the 15 day thingy as i was in Thailand for over 3 weeks a few days following the ticket, I never have been given a popla number, I appealed via telephone originally and via email more recently, I did contact Sports Direct they were Teflon man (nothing sticks) and stated I should contact G24 which I did, I sent a copy of my receipt which they state they have not received, I argued that there were insufficient signs in the car park they came back with some rehearsed line that they were within the BPA guidelines. I am unsure what to do next, my last conversation with G24 was on the 08/11/2013 and I did say that if they waivered the collection fees of £75 I would pay the original 'fine' of £60 I have not had any reply!
Actually Lol'ed at Spartacus letter :rotfl:0 -
Write to the BPA and complain that G24 sent a Notice to Keeper out late (maybe a month after the event?) and with no issue date on it at all so you can't prove it.
Never agree to pay even 6p to a PPC! Forget that idea!!
As I already said - and this is where you find the email addy for the BPA:Have you read the sticky threads at the top of this forum - that's what they are there for, to inform newbies. Because you may still be able to complain to the BPA and DVLA to get it cancelled if it's not compliant (e.g. if it was sent late or doesn't comply with the wording needed). All explained in the sticky thread 'newbies...read this now!' including email addresses and links to allow you to check your Notice to Keeper (the first 'PCN' letter).
I do hope in all these conversations/letters you haven't also given away who the driver was?! DOH!!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Good! So stay in that mode as 'registered keeper' in your complaint to the BPA and say that because the NTK arrived so late 'around a amonth later' and has no date of issue at all (a breach of Schedule 4 paragraph 9) you are not liable and they are harassing you and have not dealt properly with your appeals & phone call nor given you a POPLA code.PRIVATE 'PCN'? You are too late to appeal. Have a look at the sticky threads for advice on complaint wording.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Have you seen my signature under every post I write? It tells you where to click to see current threads, using the breadcrumb trail link (meaning the forum view of threads is always just one click away). Sticky threads on a forum are always stuck at the top as permanent info. Please try it now, read the bit in my signature about where to click one click to see current threads. You will learn so much from forums once you know how to nip round them, get back to where you started and to search. Asking for links isn't the way to use a forum IMHO, but you are picking it up I think.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
