I can't see anything in the T&Cs that says it's a family holiday or only for a family with kids etc, so I doubt they'd have a leg to stand on if they tried to refuse you the prize on those grounds. I'd chase it up / take it further if I were you, good luck and I hope you get your holiday win!! xx

    Thanks. :)

I'm not sure if there was anything additional about it in the paper though?

And sofalolz, no neices/nephews/young relatives or friends at all!

    That's a shame.

It shouldn't matter if there was anything additional in the paper, it's an online entry form - T's and C's were at the bottom and they don't state family holiday.

Surely it'd be cheaper for them if it was just 2 adults anyway? :rotfl:

    Well precisely :rotfl:

I didn't get a very good vibe from her on the phone but I've sent her an email just now anyway.
I felt really bad on the phone, thinking it was my mistake for entering. Looking at the T+Cs over and over has started to make me feel quite annoyed!

Also the T+Cs are so bare, knowing my luck they'll say I can have it and then announce flights aren't included or something, ha.

Will email the IPM in the morning if I don't get a positive/any response from her, have a feeling if it doesn't get sorted ASAP it's going to get given to someone else straight away (if it hasn't already) :(

TERMS & CONDITIONS: There is 1 Turbo trip of a lifetime holiday to be won.

I think the key point is that it is not a trip of a lifetime but a Turbo trip of a lifetime. I imagine that there must be some sort of family angle to it (themepark etc) plus the pictures on header show families. I wonder if there were more specific terms actually in the Funday publication.

    Thanks for looking :)

I think the point still stands though that a lot of people probably entered just by browsing the site online (or from MSE *cough*) and without it saying family on the internet I think it's still worth at least trying to argue with them.

And I like themeparks. And cartoon snails (I think that's what this Turbo character is.) I am basically a big kid. It couldn't be going to a better winner :rotfl:
  • Hmm, a bit judgemental to tell someone that they're not a real family if they don't have kids at home.
