Ok, thank you for your comments.
We have a lot of panel members that use Windows 7 successfully, so we don't know what the problem can be.
Perhaps when you have some spare time, call us on the freephone 0500 560 152 and we can check through it with you.

0500 numbers are just like 0800 numbers so they are free to ring from landline but will cost you from a mobile as if it was 0845 so don't worry about getting charged when calling from landline.
  • Anyone know how/where to obtain a code from to enable me to register. Many thanks

May i firstly apologise for making this thread, but i'm at a complete loss and figured that the very helpful people on this board may be able to help, and may i thank you for your help in advance.

I have recently joined shop and scan and just really don't understand the rewards/point scheme what so ever. After searching through their site i am still as clueless as what i was when i began.

My questions relate to how many points they give and for what exactly they give them for.

How many points do they give each week and for what exactly?

Currently i know that you gain 500 a week for scanning in a till recipt, but do not understand what they give you for your weekly bar code transmission, they do not tell you anywhere on the wbesite (i even went through the FAQ's and got no where).

I'm also a member of consumer pulse and its so simple and straight forward, i was expecting the same from shop and scan and have to admit i'm a little dissapointed because of how unclear their reward scheme is.

I am sorry to have to make the thread and in addition am sorry if it is misplaced; i'm relatively new to posting on the forum (although i have used the site for years).

Thank you very much for all your help,

    Mat

    Hi Mat,

You will also receive 1100 points for transmitting your barcodes weekly. Did you receive a booklet called Personal User Guide along with your scanner? The points are clearly stated on there.

If you are also a Food on the Go panel member you'll receive 200 points for every text you send them regarding your out of home snack purchase. This panel is by invitation only though and I got invited a few months after scanning my shopping in.

Shop and Scan is one of the best out there and lots of people would be jealous of you having been accepted!

thank you very much for your help,

I had a look in my user guide and yes your right, it is on the first page. I missed it because i read the 'welcome to shop and scan' up the top and skipped straight to the contents page and then searched from there onwards.

I have noticed that a lot of people on this forum are after shop and scan invites alongside consumer pulse, and it did take me quite a while to manage to get them (using the volunteer4panels application process) so i will definitely give it a lenthy trial. I love consumer pulse and have been doing that for 4 months now.

thank you very much for your help,

    Mat
