Hi,
Does anyone use shopandscan.com and if so is it any good?
I don't understand what the point of it is? And what you actually get out of it?
Any help, opinions are gratefully received!
Cheers

I've had a look and its market research. You scan what products you buy each week with a special gadget they send you, and then relay the info back. But I can't see how you register without an invitation code, did you get one?0

I do shop & scan, sorry I have no idea how I managed to get the invite!
It is as agme28 described, you scan all your shopping, we do it as we take it out of the bags. Then once a week you upload to their web site.
You get £1 in points each week, plus extra for surveys etc. Then you can claim vouchers from lots of high street stores, cinema's (I think) and other things when you get to £10. We have been doing it for a while & got £40 woolies vouchers the other day to put towards somethig we were buying.
Hope this helps

I'm also doing this, and have been for about 3 years now. Can't remember how I got an invite, but it's well worth doing. Saved up £100 in vouchers for Christmas shopping last year.0

Hi, I got invited this by e-mail yesterday, when it asked me download a small programme i clicked yes, Reading more about it today it says
If you have Windows XP and/or a laptop it’s likely you will have a USB port available.
We can supply a USB connection (Windows XP users only). i have vista on the laptop, have i screwed this up already? Does anyone else do this, using a laptop with vista.
Thanks

Hi there
I do Shop and Scan on a laptop running Vista and I have no problems at all. My clicker/scanner attaches to a cable which has a USB link and that was all sent to me with my initial pack.
They are very helpful though so if, once your pack arrives, you are unsure about anything then give them a ring or drop them an e-mail. Hope that helps.Boots £0.42 Nectar 188 Pinecone £12 Shop & Scan 8500 Lightspeed 520 Ipoints 1329 T&V 38160 Juicy Brains £1.75 Pigsback £9.61TCB £345.08 Ipsos 990 Valued Opinions £11.40 Tesco £14.50 Consumer Pulse 12500 (+£390 already claimed/spent in total)0 -
