Hi, you need to log onto www.volunteer4panels.co.uk and notify TNS that you'd be very interested in the Shop & Scan programme. I think I was on there for about 8 months - 1 year before I got onto the panel. It depends on whether they need anyone in your area that fits their demograph. Personally, I kept re-applying every 6 weeks or so, but it takes a while. Be patient - and persistent!

Ive just had an email from toluna about joining AC neilsen shop and scan-is that the same thing as you are doing? I've been accepted and it says that i will get 15,000 toluna points for joining but after that AC Neilsen will reward me? Have no idea who they are though! Any info gratefully recieved-thanks!

IMHO AC Nielsen isn't as quick and easy as shop and scan, however they do have a catalogue full of gifts you can choose once you have enough points. You do have to plug the base unit into a phone line and plug at all times.

i wouldnt bother with the ac nielsen for the effort you put in you dont get much back

i was with them for about a year and saved up enough points for a food steamer :eek:

with shop and scan oyu just have to scan one bar code - with ac nielsen you have to scan the barcode and then answer 5 additional questions before you can do the next item

Just to let you all know, that today I got an email inviting me to join! Which is great!
I went to volunteer4panels.com, completed the questionaire and explicitly mentioned that I would like to join Shop&Scan.
Don't exactly remember when I completed the form, but it should be on the first page of this thread.
