Anyone doing Shop and Scan?

i got my scanner yesterday; i had to guess some prices for certain things i purchased earlier this week i guess it should be okay....

also any tips would be great..thnx

ive just joined up with shop and scan and they pay you 1000 point for each week that you send them your scanned shopping

i note that they are part of tns of which consumer pulse is part of - consumer pulse on quite a few time of the year get you to do additional surveys to get extra points

what "extra" points do shop and scan do other is it just £52 worth of vouchers that you get each year

At the minute if you upload your barcodes you will get 3000 points each time that is only for the next two weeks now though x

They do have surveys also through the year, so you can get extra points.

did you get an email regarding that ???? because i got my initally 10,000 point for joining and was told inthe join email that it is 1000 per week

How did you join? I went to the website and it is asking you for invite code..
I am doing the normal myTNS.com surveys and I have them connected to my Nectar card/ Collect approximately 7000 points a year (£35), sometimes more sometimes less, depends on how many surveys I qualify for.
However even though I am doing TNS for years now, I never got invited to do shop and scan. It seems that they are separate...

We recognise the extra effort required over Christmas because you might have extra shopping to scan and not much time to spare. Because of this we're going to reward you with triple points for every week that you successfully transmit your barcodes by the Sunday evening of the next three weeks. That works out as 3000 points per week.

This means that by transmitting every week you will receive 3000 points on the 15th, 22nd and 29th December instead of the usual 1000.

Hi Vicki,
I also asked, on 3 threads already but noone ever answered.
However I went onto google, put "shop and scan" in and went to the website. Then to FAQ and "how to join". They then give you to complete a questionaire - which I did. I will let you know what comes out of it. Hopefuly they will give me a chance.

Ah, that will be why i got 3000 points instead of 1000 this week...its been puzzling me for a while
