in Mobiles
I've been with Vodaphone for years but didn't have a smartphone. Prompted by last week's offer from Martin I decided to move to T-Mobile and get a sim-only package but with internet access. The deal was meant to include a £70 Amazon voucher but no sign of that yet...
Anyway, my new SIM from T-Mobile has arrived, as has the second hand Samsung Galaxy phone from ebay. I've got my PAC number from vodaphone but what I need to know now, in very easy steps, is how to use my SIM card with all my saved contacts in the new phone with the new package from the new provider. Help!
I'm in my 60s so don't find all this easy. I would be really grateful if someone could tell me how to do it please.

See...that just goes to show how little I know. So I guess my first job is to write down all my contacts numbers ready to input on new phone. I really want to keep my old number so need to know how to do that please.0

Thank you, that seems very straightforward. I will contact them tomorrow.0

Is anyone else in their 60's appalled at this being used as an excuse for not being up to speed on how a mobile works? They've been out since the 80's so there's no excuse for not knowing a slowly evolving technology.
My all means, blame being disinterested or uncaring, but not because of age - that's a cop out!0 -
If the phone was restored to factory settings doesn't it take you step by step when you first turn it on? I thought it would just pull the contacts from the last phone by Bluetooth.0
