No because I don't use the mse thread,I have my own links direct to the site and comp that way.
I Know this is an issue as an mser posted on fb one of the comps and many never knew of their exsistence, hence this thread to make others aware.
thanks for replying :Aplease be a responsible pet owner & spay/neuter your pets, too many strays & not enough homes for them sadly.0 -

That would mean most of us would have a chance at just the one entry.
They can then all be listed on the dailies boards for those who have the time and patience to do them all every day.
I've been saying this for ages, but i'm just ganged up on and, i feel, ignored, even though i'm trying to make sure it is fair for ALL comper's, and not just a select few.
Actually, the MSE Comp rules are that all comps are posted on the main board, but these are now hidden away in a sticky, which in my ignored opinion is not on the main board, amd so missed by the vast majority of comper's.
I know i said i wasn't going to get involved, but now its been moved, i feel i have the right to comment.......0 -
Thank you Toniq , I too am another who would not have seen these because once in the mag thread was enough for me so I can't complain as I knew what I was doing. I can now bookmark these. But now it is off the main board then I think Comping Cat had a very good point , if it is a rule that all comps are posted on the main board then why are these not ?0

Stickied on the first page is hardly hidden away.
There are big prizes in the mags every week. Arbitrarily deciding which prizes are 'big' and highlighting them is really not much of a system.0 -

Not sure if that's correct, I spend limited time in the chat sections and I'm sure that was where it was raised??
who knows.
I have no idea - they were all on the main board, suddenly disappeared (as someone who very rarely goes anywhere except the main board (as the majority of comper's do) any discussion was completely missed by me) when i finally found them, the thread was so daunting i have not been there since - and like i said earlier, im a comper who has been here since before end dates on competitions!0 -
Thanks Toniq for the heads up.
I had missed these totally.Wins 2022 March - Product Of The Year Goody Bag June - Baker’s Too Kit July - A years supply of Fruity Gum / Nutribullet Juicer October - Immune Support Supplements Dec - Green + Blacks Tasting Selection (no delivery, had £20 Amazon Voucher instead) / Halo Creative Nails Kit / Board Games Bundle / Essential oil & Gemstone Cards
2023 January - Devance Cosmetiques Hair Products /0 -
All the aim of this is so the majority do not miss out on the big comps!
The comps above are ones which 99% would enter regardless if they done mags or not.
It wasn't to cause a debate or argument.#JusticeForGrenfell0 -

Hidden in one post, and not in amongst the main competitions! Front page sticky or not - i would bet that the majority of comper's now miss these competitions.
I also find it strange that competitions that are dupes, can take hours to be merged, yet this one was on the main board for minutes before it was removed.....0 -
ermm they are not hidden
if you go to the main board
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/forumdisplay.php?f=72
you will see they are the 2nd sticky post down
A sticky, is not listing them on the main board.
Imagine you have just started entering competitions, you are trying to get a system going considering there are so many competitions and so many different ways of comping.
Then you go into that magazine sticky - as i keep harping on, i find it completely overwhelming and i am a very long time comper - just try and imagine what its like for someone not as organised, someone new, someone who doesn't have a lot of time etc - it is completely unfair, and as i keep saying, all competitions are meant to be listed on the main board - not hidden away.0 -

but couldn't the same be said for the puzzler.com & take a break monthly comps,
they're posted in their own thread & are not a sticky so they get lost down the boards until they're 'bumped' with a new mag posting & often there are prizes of £1,000 cash/high money prizes etc
I often get pm's from peeps/newbies asking me where the threads for them are along with the magazine compsplease be a responsible pet owner & spay/neuter your pets, too many strays & not enough homes for them sadly.0
