The insurers have said they will not cover the roof.
Basically they lived up to the cringe worthy sleazy depiction of an insurance claim handler...
Asked when we noticed it and would only compare the weather on that date, not prior to that, which is when the damage would have occurred.
then asked if it was older than 10 years, as this is how long they are warrantied for...
Just looking to not pay the claim basically.
So it is raid the emergency fund and hop there is enough in there.0 -

if they flipping well were more transparent when selling these policies.
does it day about the 10 year warranty in the T&Cs?
am going to read mine properly now. so sorry for you,you could have done without that.
might be worth ae email to someone higher up about the weather issue though.

Family! I have had my fair share of issues with mine! Sister particularly.
