My sister had her handbag stolen (genuine large lv). Next day bag was found dumped. All they kept was her purse with about 20 pounds. Don't know if it is a comment on the bag or class of theif in East Lothian.0

I have a Mulberry addiction, just love the look/feel/smell of really good quality leather, and love the designs/colours.
I'm currently coveting a Michael Kors bag, but at £780, I think I'll keep dreaming!0 -
I have quite a lot of Mulberry handbags and a couple of Louis Vuittons.
Buying them stops me spending money on lots of tat. I have cheaper bags too but the metal parts tend to tarnish, I have had the linings rip and the stitching come undone on the straps. I bought my sister a Mulberry bag as she loved one of mine and it still looks amazing after three years of being filled with nappies and baby bottles, sweets, baby wipes and Fruit Shoots! I buy things to keep and while I don't spend much money on clothes, I have items in my wardrobe I bought ten years ago and still like and wear. I would rather buy a few things a year I love than fill up my house with disposable items.
I don't buy expensive shoes, I would not be able to put them on the floor to walk in them . We don't have children, don't smoke and only go out once a week or less so I choose to spend the money others spend on these things on handbags and holidays after saving. They are beautiful too, they can lift any outfit and look lovely displayed in my room. Finally, as this is MSE, they do retain their value far better than cheaper alternatives and if I needed too, I could sell them. I would cry though!0
