    Wait im a little confused...

I dial 2210 from my existing sim card and press 1 to get the auth number.

put the new sim and and press 2 and enter the auth number?

Does this mean i wont be using my old sim card any more? ill have to use the new one with my old number on it?

Because i had a problem with o2 ages ago ang they upgraded my 300 free texts per £10 top-up to 500 texts and i dont want to loose it!

    any ideas?

No, they disconnect the new sim you use in step 2.

I'm a bit confused too. We definitely keep our sim and number?
  • Woohoo....just done this and getting £59.04 back in 14 days :j

OK easy step by step guide for thos asking is:

Old sim in - dial 2210, option 1 then option 2. Write down auth code.
Change sim and with new sim dial 2210 - option 2 straight away. Enter other details that they ask for i.e, name, address, mobile number (enter the number you are wanting to use) At the end they ask you to press 1 to confirm.
Change sims and Bobs your uncle!! :)

    Thanks for this thread!!
