My Sky stopped working last night saying there was no signal, went to check the dish as per their online instruction to find it had gone!!
I live in a 1st floor flat dish must be 20-25ish feet from the ground, I didn't hear a thing
Been on the phone to them for almost an 1 1/2 hours tonight "Oh no, no one would steal it lets reset your box" to 90 mins later "do you think it may have been stolen?"
I just dont understand why anyone would want it, cant get my head around it at all.
Any ideas?
To top it off I have to wait 3 weeks for a new one and it'll cost me £65

Could someone in another flat have removed the wrong one?14 Projects in 2014 - in memory of Soulie - 2/140

you can buy your own for £20ish quid on amazon if you can fit the replacement yourself, cheaper than 650

Unfortunately, some people will steal anything. They probably don't even want it for themselves or to sell it, they just do it because you have something nice.If you fold it in half, will an Audi A4 fit in a Citroen C5?

Are dishes allowed on your flat, some leases prohibit it, and it may have p'd off a neighbour that you had one. That gum you like is coming back in style.0

My OH was a director of a residents management group at her old flat. She constantly had to arrange for dishes to be removed because they were banned by the lease (although every flat had a Virgin Media hook up so they did have an alternative).0

I have no idea how to multiquote so in answer to all the questions:
dibuzz: No there were only two dishes on my side of the block, the one for upstairs flat is still there and I have asked a few peeps in case they saw anything.
whitelabel: I am scared of heights and wouldn't have a clue where to start!
Steve059: So it seems!!!
penrhyn & Colin_London: Yes they are allowed, quite a lot of the flats have them, just in a different area to mine and my upstairs neighbour as we are on the end (some are on the fronts some on the backs)0 -
Can't you get Sky to do it for free - tell them you'll have to cancel your Sky subs as you can't watch without a signal!?0

Oversteer is when you hit a wall with the back of your car
Horsepower is how fast your car hits the wall
Torque is how far your car sends the wall across the field once you've hit it0
