I'm positive you cant bar a phone call from you phone, you can only bar incoming calls from all numbers I.E send all incoming calls to voicemail.0

I work for Vodafone and the only way we will bar 1 number from calling the phone, is to report the calls as nuisance calls ( the call does need to be answered but u can hang up straight away) you must call the provider as soon as the call has ended to log it, as they can only see the last number called. As soon as 3 calls have been logged from that number, then action can be taken in the form of either changing your number, contacting the police liason department or having that number blocked completly from your phone.0

Hiya kltpzyxm,
No that should work on your D600 for calls too as it doesn't just block the text message it blocks the whole number - I'm so annoyed where I put the phone now and as I hated the D600 so much I went back to my old Nokia 6230i and the D600 disappeared into a safe place never to be found again (up to now anyway).
You can enter numbers individually too for example a land line number into your block lists
grrrrrrrrrrrr I so wish I had the phone right now.
Have a look in the phone book settings / options there and see if it's in there where you can just add a number to the list.
Might just be popping into a mobile shop tomorrow to ask, but you can definitely do it on the D500 and D600 series phones, but I'm not sure about the newer models as I don't have one but it's most likely there as it was seen as a useful feature even if google doesn't agree right now!
This is really bugging me now as I know you can do it -
Try :-
Menu > Settings > Security > Privacy and see if there is an option in there - if not I'm going into a mobile shop tomorrow if google doesn't turn up the goods!0 -
This will just be for text messages, you need to go to the text go into options and then block number, it wont work for calls0

Speak to her service provider. They may in the circumstances allow her to change her number free of charge.0

If you want to stop the sod from ringing get a new sim card with a different number, I'll send you one and will even put £10 of credit on it coz I hate it when people pester, especially if its upsetting your daughter. (Free of charge of course)0
