It's free people! If it's not good enough for you then pay £X a month to the other two. Or get your statutory reports via the post for £2 a shot. In my experience, though, Noodle is pretty comprehensive and lists all of my current and expired accounts.

As for defaults not dropping off your file quickly enough - as has been said, Noddle is a monthly snapshot - so any changes won't be visible until the following month. Your actual Noodle (Call Credit) file will be updated immediately though.

That's like telling someone you enjoy Moroccan food and everyone else should..

I rarely check Noddle but when I have done there's accounts missing and understand it's the creditors fault but if I'm checking this particular company then I expect accounts to be in place.

If I go to Burger King and they've run out of onions I won't blame the onion company I'd blame Burger King.

Not really. It's more like people complaining of hunger and being offered free Moroccan food, only to turn around and moan about it not tasting nice enough. If it's not good enough, you can always go and pay for pizza...

Anyway, all I'm saying is that in this instance, I personally am happy enough with my free Moroccan food.

    I hate Moroccan food anyway.

Noddle has all of my records but some of my accounts aren't updated every month. It's like some of my creditors can't be bothered to update Noddle sometimes.

Noddle removed my defaults 2 weeks before they were due to drop off!

It's only really Equifax who take ages to update.
  • I find Noddle rubbish!

I think it's perfect considering the cost of it. I'd much rather use this than Experian. You get what you pay, and understand it's a monthly snapshot which they quite clearly state
  • Right I flew on Ryanair this year not because I wanted to it was because it was cheap and it said it what it done on the tin.

Now Noodle says it's a snapshot of my credit report which is fine it's free, so when I log on to its website and 2 of my accounts are missing it's not really saying what it does on the tin like Ryanairs tin says.

So what's good for one person may not be good for another.
  • Maybe those two accounts don't report to Callcredit/Noddle? That isn't Calldredit/Noddle's fault.

Now we are getting somewhere, can you see what I'm getting at.

So if I wanted my favourite washing up powder and there's 2 shops next to each other and only one shop stocked it what shop would I go into?
  • I see your point, but no one should rely on credit files from just 1 agency.

If one requires a full picture, then one needs to pay £2 each to Experian and Equifax as well.

Noddle is great for what it is. It's free and you lose nothing from getting a copy of your file. No-one can call it rubbish for not containing all accounts they hold as not all creditors report to all 3 reference agencies.
