I've been Money Tipped! Debt-free and Proud!
OK, I am tearing my hair out here, so I have to get it out!

I currently have £294 in my current account.

This week I have to pay for:
    -Gym £63.50
    -Water £33.50
and about £30 for food this week. I only paid £6 for £45 worth of food shopping in Morrisons today, as I had £39 in savings stamps that I used. Pleased with that!

I feel that I am forgetting something that I need to pay.....

    Dinners this week:
    Sunday- Cottage pie
    Monday- Carbonara
    Tuesday- Cheesy/Pesto pasta
    Wednesday- Fish pie
    Thursday- Curry and Nann
    Friday- Spag bol.

Breakfasts will be toast, porridge, cereal, fruit and yogurt.

Lunches will be pitta breads stuffed with various things like ham salad, falafel salad etc.

In other news- Gym on Monday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday, so long as the tennis doesn't interrupt that! Andy Murray is due to play on Monday and I am not sure about the order of play yet. I CANNOT miss his matches, so as long as he is 3rd on the order of play, I can get to the gym after work at 1pm. We'll see.

Jo, hows your meal plan coming along?

I hope you feel better for writing all that down. It looks like you'll be ok money-wise for the week of you're careful!

Your meal plan sounds good, as do your gym plans. Being Scottish, I have a soft spot for Murray (despite his lack of personality) so we'll try to watch some tennis too.

I did very well tonight- the meal plan is done the batch cooking list is done, as is the rest of the shopping list! Just need to do shopping/ cooking tomorrow and try to make a dent in the housework. We've let it slip a bit recently and just kept going with the basics.

Husband and I watched the Tom Hanks film Captain Phillips tonight and it was amazing! Treated ourselves to a little shandy too, which was nice.

Off to bed now- I'm determined to be productive tomorrow!

Also, I plan to put the £3 that's in my purse into my savings tin. I wonder how much is in there now!!
    CC1: £4481.14/ £5031.14 (12% paid off, £600) | CC2:£3307/ £3807 (14.4% paid off, £550) | Loan: £10,528.20/ £15,792.30((33% paid off, £5,264))

July debt total: £24,630.44 | New debt total: £18,316.34 | Total debt paid: £6,414.10 (26%)

    Morning All :)

yes Jo, you are correct, at least I still have SOMETHING in my savings account. Still, its only a quarter of what I was hoping to have by now.
I was reading Frugal Queen's blog ( http://www.frugalqueen.co.uk/ for anyone who doesn't already read it- its brilliant!) and she is doing her annual July challenge, where she is as Frugal as possible ( http://www.frugalqueen.co.uk/search?updated-max=2014-06-24T21:26:00%2B01:00&max-results=2&start=2&by-date=false this link takes you to her post about the challenge) so I am planning on following along with that. I need to do another kitchen cupboard audit and see what I come up with for the month.

I've opened that one up to read later while husband is at football. The challenge sounds good! Not sure I'll manage it as we're off work for two weeks at the end of the month! It'll be good to see the principles though :)

All in the name of motivation!

Are you having a nice Sunday?

Yes thanks, just been to pick the boys up from their Dads house and made some lunch. Now just chilling out and browsing online. How about you?

Are you off on holidays at the end of the month then, or just having a few weeks off work?
I am determined to make July the cheapest ever month, and hope to save £700. Fingers crossed!

That sounds like a relaxing afternoon!

We've been productive today- went out to buy a new bin, did the food shopping, visited my mother in law, did some cooking, sorted out the little fella for bed and got him down. Now husband is away to football for an hour, I'm going to prep the next lot of cooking stuff and make the dinner, get the rest of the washing up done and hang the washing up. I also just made the Lunches for the three of us for tomorrow.

I feel like if I sit down I might never get back up!

We've got a fortnight off in July but not got any plans to go anywhere yet, if at all. We just want to save now, although a last minute deal is so tempting. The childminder is off, that's why we took two weeks then.

Wow- £700 in July sounds like a hard task but I'm sure if you put your mind to it, you could do it!! I'm looking forward to hearing about your progress.

I'm hoping to save another little bit before my next pay turn it'd be nice to save £700 in July if possible.

I have four birthdays in august though so might not be quite as much.

I'm feeling the motivation slowly creep back in!

I've out £200 aside for my weekend away in London (two nights) but I'm already trying to think of ways to cut back/ not spend too much so that I can put any leftovers away. Going to make a packed lunch for the train journey down too- how very MSE of me!
