We love you on here savvy:T:T your attention to detail is incredible :beer: and I wise I swore a bit less
I wish I was round you in the pub and you kept swearing like a trouper:D. (To the extent...ah, there is a nasty qualifier..., now an inconsistent line being taken by me, that no-one else around was adversely affected or bothered by it. Or me being around (which, of course I would be as that is the premise in the first place)..if there were 5 year old kids around!?! (Me being illogical, no idea why.))
(Embarrassed at my ability to be affected in such circumstances, rather than at me getting embarrassed because you were and there were.)0 -

My husband owns one I think as he often goes off winter walking and climbing and sleeps out. Shame i never thought of locking him in the shed in his drinking days. However it would have meant sleeping in the shed almost every night! Towards the end of those days he came home in a police car one night ( absolutely blotto) and DS and I left him to sleep it off on the kitchen floor!!
We were talking about the drinking a few weeks ago and he told me he even had a short length of hose in the shed that held a bottle of vodka for emergencies. There was another bottle in the water butt.
Good we can laugh about it now as he is 6 years sober next feb0 -

[1] Oh, I'm pleased some good has come out there!:):)
[2] Hmm, interesting point.0 -
Savvybuyer wrote: »[1] That's how I'd 'black-and-white' think.
[2] Now, that's total confusion! Because how could you ever know where the line was or wasn't? I suspect that's why I have, non-consciously, become so rigid(?), careful(?), not sure what the right word is there, and speak entirely in formal language - well, I might let go a "hell" (not really swearing at all) (wonder if the forum will exclamation that out? It's not a 100% that it won't - so, again, totally unclear in advance there, as I've no idea in advance whether or not it will). Anyway - of course, if I did ever have the ability not to suppress myself and just to talk naturally as everyone else appears to be doing, I'm sure I'd be the one to get the objection raised against me - even if just a "don't swear" and not anything like a formal complaint being made about me - doubtless because my tone would be completely out. Not to mention (:Doops, now doing so) timing and things like that.
Besides, I think on the odd occasion, it's because I don't, that if rarely I have been pushed off the edge so far that I have, it's then out of character and noticed even more. I wish I could just swear naturally and constantly without being noticed. I suspect it's just me that notices and hears everything anyway!
I think most people, again, simply get on with life and just 'know' intuitively when they can/can't etc. Which is easy as they can see everyone's body language and thus know! I can't and, it's not actually "frustrating", as it doesn't really cause much problem, I think about it - and other things - from time to time, far more than people generally do but really they, and me, just get on with life without worrying about trying to figure things out.
Sometimes you have to reach the conclusion there is nothing to figure out and it's best just drawing a line under your thought, and where the train of it has ended up, and moving on just not really worrying or considering matters (as all other people seem very able to do). It's not 'frustrating' - more another support of my own argument that society is inconsistent and unclear:rotfl::rotfl:. Just makes me right and shows my argument is TRUE!:D
And as for explaining the meaning of the word "context" to an Aspie...:D:D:rotfl:
I totally agree!100 -

Evening loves!
Picked up this amazing salad at Ts. Parma ham- I added a few croutons to jazz it up but it also had sundried tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, mozzarella and rocket. So delicious! Would definitely make at home.
Filming today was fun. It was for a Malaysian company to promote recycling and Eco practises. Was helping out a mate by being an extra.
PD and I tried the Assam Tea but it scanned at 69p for us. Did however pick up some Halloween Haribo for 25pand more 37p finest chocolate
