First post so hope I have this right. Did a beans and pasta shop today, thank you all for the info here. Bought some kettle chips to claim the £1.50 Shopitize, 2 for £3 on my receipt but seems multibuy not showing on APG. No idea why as it is showing on mysupermarket
AVM
1 x Kettle Chips - Sweet Chilli & Sour Cream (150g) £1.99 £1.00
1 x Kettle Chips Sea Salt with Crushed Black Peppercor... £1.99 £1.00
Another filler if anyone needs flour
1 x McDougalls Self Raising Flour (1.5Kg) £1.50 £1.18
Plain flour gave same result yesterday0 -
Savvybuyer wrote: »Regarding Morries prices, prices are collected twice a week (usu. Monday and Wednesday, i.e. unless it's bank holiday week) and updated by Wednesday and Friday. Offers in M usually end on Sundays, but the prices work on APG until Monday (morning?) as the system isn't updated till later (Monday evening/Tuesday onwards??). But if you shop in A on Monday, when offer in M is technically expired, I think you need to check the receipt before the update from Monday's collection is done. (Bank holidays, shop for now expired Sunday-end offers may be through till Tuesday.) If you shop on the Sunday, shouldn't be a problem (aside from the usu. N/A thing on the odd item) as receipt date indicates to APG what prices to use (i.e. will go by Sunday, rather than Monday which may have updated if you check later in the week). Not really much use - just a possible extra (bit of a) day to shop for an M offer in A if you missed it.
That's it - explained again, little fed up of doing so as it's just completely known obviousness to me that I keep needing to repeat time and again!:rotfl::rotfl: Hopefully help some Newbies!:):)
Savvy,
I keep learning from your posts, somethings just take longer to cement themselves in my brain.. and I read for more than a year before posting. You are invaluable for the newbies xxxx

Panic over.
Not used shoptize since jan 13 and forgot it was the product barcode I needed to scan and not receipt.
Blonde moment over.
Now waiting for friend to send me photos of barcodes of items he took home yesterday.
Nice £1.50 back on beans, now I see why workings out were so cheap.
Catch up time.

Well I dragged myself down to the car boot. Car park and areas of the car boot itself had plenty water lying but still most stalls there. I had to use my stick today as couldn't manage with crutches when buying and carrying items I wanted. Quick hello to one friend as I went into the indoor market area, got 3 dettol hand wash refills for £5 and a new small halogen heater for £6 which Steve & Andy had asked me to get them then went into cafe for a bacon & cheese earnie. I'd chatted with the sweetie stall lady inside for a while but was getting upset talking and when Mr Cafe shouted across 'it would be Alan's birthday today, wouldn't it' it was time for tears again. He came out to speak to me but I couldn't talk to him much. I headed out, stopping to talk to another friend quickly and went back to car in tears
I was going to come straight home, but did actually manage to go to Tosco and Asda for the shopping I wanted, but found today very hard. I couldn't remember it being so hard last year, the first birthday missed, but Steve reminded me that I was glitch shopping for chocolates with my sister as she came down to visit me for that weekend last year. Actually, today has been my hardest day, the only time I have broken down when outside, and been unable to speak to people. I did avoid a couple of very close friends as I knew I would have been even worse
I do feel better now though ... that win by the Black Cats must have helped :rotfl:
