Infinis energy ipo

Seems to have found it's market value so with only £1700 I'll see how the divi goes. To be honest I don't think going unconditional will make much difference. In the unlikely event they back out you could deal today without any great hassle. You'd jus get your money back 24 hours later.
It's not although your money was doing much else with current interest rates
There's an oil company 'Frontier' with an IPO in the Philippines in the next few days. Would love to have a crack but I guess it would have to be outside a SIPP or ISA so really can't get into it. Pity
Guess I'll have to wait for something interesting in the UK to come along but I don't see anything on the horizon
I believe past performance is a good guide to future performance :beer:0 -
See I'm kind of thinking the price still looks like it's being stabilised a bit just because the chart looks a little too "managed" there are stepchanges in price with relatively little movement between :undecided: which makes me a bit nervous, but we'll find out tomorrow!
Stick or twist time now. I'm going to hold on - I'm guessing that with the kind of yields on offer, there might be some institutional buying tomorrow. One can hope anyway. I'm still hoping to retain a smaller investment in INFI because of the yield on offer. I've also looked into renewable energy certificates for my own project and I'm pretty confident in the company's revenues - with increasing electricity demands, revenue generation seems secure for the medium term. What remains to be seen is whether capital is used for further capital projects/expansion (leading to longer term revenue increases but lower short term shareholder return) or whether they'll be looking to reduce investment and keep returns high. The initial dividend is great, I suppose its the size of the second one that will really signal intent.0 -
For info... stabilisation is 13.5/90M shares - or 15%. I believe this is the top end of the "normal" range for stabilisation

What you guys thinking - sell and get your money back for the people who bought as a IPO or stick with it?0 -
I'm not trying to sound condescending but reading the many forums out there it seems that there are many people buying in off the back of the RM IPO who now are panicking at the prospect of the stock potentially dipping.
Well the company position hasn't changed overnight, go back and look over your research and see if the reason you bought the stock in the first place is still as compelling today.0 -
This IPO was never going to come close to the RM IPO. All indications were that this was an investment share rather than a quick flip. Therefore to me the day to day share price flutuations are not that important, I will be looking at long term trend and Div payments.YNWA

Pretty bad news today. Do people still plan on keeping their Infinis shares or selling now for a modest loss?0

Pretty disappointed with INFI at the moment. Still waiting on some dividend figures to lift it out of this major slump. Looks like it was over-priced. Although, I think political elements played their role too0
