  • You invested 1k and want to get 200 in profits.

The price needs to do wonders for that kind of return.

RMG seems to have warped everyone's minds

I think you've applied the RMG sell off to general IPO's. RMG was exceptionally undervalued. You generally find there is a stark difference between public and private IPO's.

There is no guarantee that a share price will go up after their IPO as you've found out. Did you read the prospectus and invest based on the business case and projected returns or simply invest because it was an IPO?

I did read the prospectus, I won’t lie and will say that one of the main reason was it being an IPO. I did ask someone in the know and they did mention that very low risk on losing money on this one. I guess I was being optimistic on the £200-£250 mark. But I be happy with any kind of profit as long it’s not a loss, but am not in urgency to sell.

Nudging up nicely after New York opened. Not sure if I can see this reaching 300 any time soon though who knows, there's a lot of potential volatility on the energy market.

I avoided because of the noise around the government talking about reducing the green levies and anything that relies on government funding that can be pulled at a moment's notice is high risk IMHO. However they do seem to have reasonable production from biogas etc. so they seem pretty diversified and would be a reasonable long term hold. Can't see you making a 25% return on your investment though newboy12.

The Americans haven't joined in yet. It's definitely a slow start but think we will see a small rise by lunchtime.

Creeping up nicely now... Wonder where we will be by end of play?

Why? Who else but morons would apply for new shares and then sell them immediately at the same price or even at a loss whilst also incurring a dealing cost?

Someone whose circumstances changed since they applied?

Someone who has very recently found a seemingly better opportunity?

I wouldn't angrily call them "morons" without knowing anything about it....

    My potential certainty: £2.88.5

  • Is Infinis viewable on any of the popular finance pages yet - Google Finance, Yahoo Finance, etc? Or is it just in brokerage accounts?
