    "user profile service service failed the logon, user profile cannot be loaded"

    I fixed a laptop with this last week, you need a second account to fix it, if it was the only account you can use Safe Mode to use the build in Administrator account.

    If you can't get into safe mode or the Administrator account has been disabled, you can use a Boot CD with registry access such as UBCD4Win.

    Once you have registry access you can follow Method One in this guide on Microsoft Support: KB 947215
