Help identifying Sony Xperia phone?

Hi guys,

I am looking to buy a phone and have been sent this picture of a Sony Xperia phone that someone is willing to sell to me. Unfortunately the person selling the phone doesn't have much of a clue about them and has only sent me a poor quality picture.

Any help identifying it from this picture would be appreciated! I think it could be a sony Xperia S but I am uncertain.

Had a look, not sure but go to gsmarena .com , look at the tab on the left for Sony phones and u will see the full range of Xperia phones.

Yeah i've been through most of them bbut proved inconclusive The camera looks to be on the top right and the only phone I found with a camera lens in the same position is the sony xperia S!

Tell the person to go to Settings> About Phone

And it'll tell them somewhere there.

The seller is being a bit cagey in all honesty. They say they dont get on with technology therefore would rather not fiddle with it. I'll persevere but i'm thinking it might be better to steer clear.

Is this seller someone you know personally - are you 100% sure they actually have the phone, and aren't just trying to scam you with a picture?

Thats a big big beware flag .

That is the Xperia S, But I'd stay away from it going by the sellers lack of knowledge on what it is they are selling.

Xperia S is a rubbish phone. My girlfriend got one last month on a 2 year contract and it's awful. Told her to send it back within the 14 days but she didn't and now she hates it. She never listens to me when she buys tech.
