In your haste to come back with a "smart" answer you are missing the obvious point - the cold callers DON'T leave a message. Genuine callers have that option. I have used this system for some years - it works a treat - instead of picking holes in it - try it !0 -
no. you're missing the obvious.
Not all genuine callers will leave a message either, so you'll miss the genuine calls as well.
I'm not trying it. To try it I'd have to buy a phone, plug it into my land line, buy an answer phone, plug that in, set it up and give people my home number. I find it easier to not use a land line and not get any calls from cold callers.
