I'd cover more than your reg plate on those pics pal. Address, PCN No. etc.
This is my *anonymous* account on MSE Forums - I post under a different username normally.

You need to cover your ID details. Take the pics off and cover stuff up a bit!

And it's not a PCN it's a FINAL NOTICE before COURT ACTION. Colourful and nor compliant but still an attempt at a LBCCC.

Read the 'LBCCC fightback' sticky thread at the top of the forum then, as this is a LBCCC and you must formally respond.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Your name and address is on that, as well as its serial number. You should blank out all that detail then read some of the threads. complain to the church to get them to cancel it.

What do you mean? We have told you to read the thread that explains how to respond to THIS LETTER. Near the top of the forum:

http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/forumdisplay.php?f=163

'LBCCC fightback' thread. Tells you how to respond.

Here's your letter, but what's on the back? :

'Final Notice' is smaller than 'parking charge' and it does not say what it should if it was a real Letter before Claim. But you must still respond. We can help you to respond but do read the LBCCC Fightback thread first.

What's with the bit at the foot of the notice to the effect that giving false information you may face prosecution and a potential fine of £5,000
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

I think the first action for you to take this week is fairly easy. Report this PPC to the BPA and the DVLA for sending what appears to be a postal PCN (disguised as a Final Notice perhaps - but it is impossible to tell seeing as it looks mainly like a PCN) with a load of total non-compliant drivel about 'keeper liability' and nothing that could be considered compliant with either POFA 2012 or the BPA Code of Practice.

Send a copy of both sides like you have shown there, to:

steve.c@britishparking.co.uk

and

david.dunford@dvla.gsi.gov.uk

and ask that they investigate this horrendously late and non-compliant 'PCN'. Point out the dates and the rubbish on the back. Ask what they are going to do about this AOS member sending out such rubbish and after all these months how is a registered keeper supposed to know what to do with a hybrid letter like that?

DO NOT NAME THE DRIVER NOR IMPLY WHO IT MIGHT HAVE BEEN. IF THEY ASK IF THERE WAS EVER A WINDSCREEN PCN THEN YOUR ANSWER AS KEEPER IS 'HOW CAN I KNOW, I AM JUST THE REGISTERED KEEPER?'

:) OK? No repercussions on you by reporting the PPC. And the BPA/DVLA might force them to cancel.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
