Hi I received in the post today a parking charge from npc in Manchester po box 5426.This parking charge letter has a photo of my car on it ,asking me to pay £220 to be paid in full by 19.11.2013.It says that the incident accured on the 22.03.2013. This states its a civil enforcement notice 5.The incident was at the Mary Magdalene church car park in torquay Devon England .No ticket was placed on the windscreen,a NtK was sent.

Sorry im a first timer on here,i couldn't find any other like threads on a church car park. Would it be better to go to citizens advice?

A firm asking for £220!!!! over an incident in March?!

EDIT, just found them as 'Cascade Financial' here:

I reckon there should be a complaint to the BPA because that appeals procedure is pants. I bet the letters and Notices are as bad.

When was the NTK sent, that you mention? Can you show it to us (both sides) as well as the recent letter (both sides) please. Just cover the identifying details. You will need to take a photo or scan of both sides of both , host them on tinypic and then reply here with the tinypic URL of the pics. But as you are a newbie you will have to post broken links = remove the http:// from the front.

Nope. And what has a church car park got to do with reading other private parking ticket threads?! Who cares whose car park it was, the threads are ALL the same.

It really doesn't matter where the car park is, church, retail park, cinema complex, gym, hotel, supermarket, they're all the same and dealt with in the same basic way.

Read around the forum and you'll get the hang of this.

If you want to waste some time getting spurious advice on private car parking charges, go ahead and book your CAB appointment

Thank you ,the incident happened on the 13th march 2013 as stated on the parking charge ,this was delivered today and is marked as sent 4th November 2013.They are asking me to pay in full by the 19.11.2013 £220 for ten min parking in a church car park!

If that doesn't work, then also change the . to DOT
