They take £2.50 from your account to check the credit card is genuine. Just a quick question, as I sent the phone back within 7 days, ....am I entitled to claim the £2.50 back? Would be grateful for your thoughts! Cheers :)

If you returned the unwanted phone under the Distance Selling Regulations, then the retailer must refund you for everything you paid them.

The DSRs require you to refund any money paid by or on behalf of
the consumer in relation to the contract to the person who made the
payment.
