Thanks, Dozey crow, I'll look into pasta makers ... I do quite fancy the idea of trying my hand at filled raviolis etc.
Once again, hope your bunnie is okay. If he is eating a lot it is indeed a good sign.
Anyway, I am at work today, and have brought lasagne, so that's another one down for me. I had some of it last night for dinner - very niceI also made some rye bread and brought two slices of that with some peanut butter for a snack (which I ate right away, as soon as I got into work). I was a bit bored so worked out the cost of my rye bread peanut butter sandwich and I reckon it's about 31p. Not bad! Certainly cheaper than running out of time and buying breakfast from Pret a Manger.

I totally forgot to take anything out of the freezer last night but think I will take lasagne again. It was yum. Then fish pie or chicken soup tomorrow.0

Hiya, I did type this all out this morning while on the train but I lost data connection as I went to post it, sigh...
So, we had a super busy weekend away (topped up by collecting a super sweet rescue pud on the way home last night), we got a take out curry for dinner and I then promptly fell asleep on the sofa before even thinking about breakfast or lunch, whoops..
But trying to still keep on a spend-free day, I picked up 3 digestives for breakfast, and some left over curry for lunch which was yummy.. Am about to now tuck into the other half of the KitKat duo that was tucked away in my drawer
So, clearly a healthy day for me today, lol:rotfl:
Still.. nothing spent yet (and no plans to) as I'm washing it all down with my el cheapo teaApril 2021 Grocery Challenge 34.29 / 2500 -

Personally, I'd say that counts Juno
Another badly organised morning for me but I've got food with me at least..
I re-watched the first for the Trust Me, I'm a Doctor on Sunday night and there was a big focus on sleep. I normally get very little of the stuff so decided to have an early night last night (2.5 hrs before my norm!!)
Anyway I had my folks over for dinner and went to bed straight after under the belief that I'd sort my bircher breakfast this morning. That would have been okay if I hadn't have woken up 5 mins before I was supposed to leave for work - whoops..
So I grabbed digestives again and some more curry. Oh, and my youngest donated a triangle of his big Tobelerone to me for an afternoon snack bless him. And I nabbed a lift to the station otherwise I would have missed my train
Feel pretty fresh for the extra sleep at least, lolApril 2021 Grocery Challenge 34.29 / 2500 -
I've done really badly the week before and this week. Two reasons really - and I know this sounds like I am just making excuses - 1) I have been promoted - which has a £2k payrise which should be being used to pay off my debt, but it makes me feel like I can afford to buy lunch everyday. 2) My IBS has been playing up, so I can't eat the rice/pasta/couscous I was taking in everyday. I feel pretty crap thinking about what I spend everyday, even tho its usually soup and popcorn. I dont want to bring my own soup in as I dont like using the old work microwave.Tesco Credit Card - £946.47 as of 03/01/20140

Hi Everyone,
Shortie you are doing really well to manage to take things in to work when leaving in such a rush and resist buying anything else …... I am not sure I could be so devoted!!!
Pasta makers are great Cathy. We have a£ 19.99 one from Argos and it is still going strong after 10 years. Thanks for the good wishes BTW I am very happy to report that our bunny has made a full recovery:o:o she is earring like a small goes again now. We are really relieved because we love her so much.. Sad but true:o
Congratulations on your promotion Dreamer:j...I don't blame you for enjoying the extra money for a while. I dare say that the process of applying and waiting to hear if you have it or not has been stressful so this is a way of unwinding.
Things are going well still. I have taken quorn sandwiches yesterday and today. Working from home tomorrow and so will have a toasty.
I do tend to eat a lot at work but it is freezing. Today I had a thermal vest, a vest top, a long sleeve cotton top a cardi and fingerless gloves  still not warm
I know what you mean about the work microwave... I have the same problem. I have bought a mug of hm soup from home and microwaved it with the cling film on the top which worked well. The soup was hot and only the bottom of my cup touched the microwave !!!
Nearly: done a whole month... Just have to make it to Friday.0 -
Day 9 completed, last day tomorrow as I am off after that except Saturday but lunch is on work that day. Kfc :-)
