I've looked at the V8 75's in the past as well, hoped they might have been cheaper.
With the SD1 and a couple of 827's previously, a 75 V8 would have been ideal.0 -

Loved the one I had. Even got a towbar from an owners club member and used it to tow our caravan.
1985 3500 sd1 and a 1983 Lynton 6 berth. In 1985, that setup would have cost thousands.
When I had it (probably around 2005/2006) around £1550.0 -
