correct on both counts. We use about 75cu m a year for two of us costing about £25 a month with Anglian Water (water & sewerage).
As said above the cost of water, sewerage and the standing charges are amazingly varied throughout the industry. It looks as though you have a fairly low consumption but live in high cost area - have a look on your water co's website to see if they do a low user tariff which might benefit you.Never under estimate the power of stupid people in large numbers0 -

We are supplied by Anglian and pay a £18 month for the two of us. It has been up to £25 and a low as £5.0 -
I work for a water company and in our area they say 1occ would use on avg 1cubic meter of water a week for avg use. I think your bill if including waste water is about right xOfficial DFD: Dec 29Challenge DFD: July 23Debts Cleared: 1/13Building EF: £20/£600 3%0

Wow, I'm green with envy. The lowest my average bill ever gets is 20, and that's for one person that's out alot and only showers at home on the weekend.0 -

Comparing consumption is the only meaningful measure between properties.
Water & sewerage prices + standing charges vary tremendously across the UK.
In the South West they pay £5.52 per cubic metre for water and sewerage, plus £74 in standing charges. So a family of 4 with average consumption will pay approx £1,288 a year.
If unmetered your standing charges are £290.30pa, plus £4.46 per £1 of Rateable value(RV) so a house with an average RV of £250 will pay £1,405!!!0
