The CPW price hike is undefendable. Its just pure greed on their part, I'm just amazed that anyone is stupid enough to pay it. Clearly if they didn't CPW would have to drop the price back to something close to the Play store...

They said it's not the best camera, and not as good as the much more expensive phones it's up against. If you want a better camera, you need to spend more money, is the not very surprising conclusion. Samsung S4, HTC One have better cameras. They're also more expensive. Nokia Lumia 1020 (?) has the best camera on a phone.
I would second laptop. I had the Nexus 4, which I was happy with, except the camera was hit and miss, shots sometimes turned out blurred if there was any movement (with 3 young kids unable to sit still, this was often the case!).

I haven't been disappointed by the camera on the Nexus 5, it's a vast improvement, I think the OIS must make the difference, also the HDR+ mode gives great results.

This was the review I read before ordering, it does well against other devices that are twice the price of the N5:

There are more reviews around now, if you wanted to check them out.

One issue I am having with the Nexus 5 though, I have to fight with the charging port each time I connect the charger, as it's not easy to attach.

Not sure if it's a design fault, or just a problem with my phone - anyone else experienced this? I might take it into my local CPW to have it checked.

It is a tight fitting charging port.

Got to say Im happy with mine,it arrived on monday.
32gb black version ordered at 6.35 pm on the night of release, would have ordered even sooner (I spotted the announcement at 6.04) but needed to change our daughter.

Its a massive upgrade from my old HTC Desire HD.

Had a couple of minor network connection issues with it (ie it lost service, yet showed signal bars and would let me text but no calls)

Actually that text is reported as being sent on the 15 october to really confuse matters

Any bets on when KitKat will hit the Nexus 4?

Have you tried your wireless charger yet? If you'd recommend it, would you mind saying what one you went for?

I'm planning on getting one, but not sure what to go for (although the cheaper the better, as long as it does the job!)

It's a Koolpad one, about £22 on eBay. Seems really good. It has a really annoying beep when it starts and stops charging so if you charge overnight it will beep several times. Following some advice online, I took the beeper out. Takes 2 minutes with a screwdriver!
