The Xbox 360 will come down to well under £100 for a decent hard drive version?
I doubt it too, the XBOne is in short supply, and at the moment theres not a lot to recommend it. I tried the Xbox One at the weekend at the Microsoft One Tour.
Completley underwhelmed, one of the staff there said they were using Beta hardware and software to do the play testing so final version may be better but apart from nicer graphics I'm syating wiht my 360.
Startup and game load time were LONG and they had the games on the hard drives not optical disks, again may have been the fact the boxes were not final production models but it put me off the thought of buyng a XBO till the consoles and games get a lot cheaper.0 -
how long more will games be released for xbox 360 once xbox one arrives?0

Xbox 360 will be supported into 2015...as for the quality of the games by the end, is anyones guess.0

Looks like you got a decent deal, even better you got a 12 month Xbox Live sub instead of the 3 months.
1 tip whatever you do don't add a credit/ debit card to the Xbox account, buy the Live subscriptions from the internet eg Game.
I had mine on autorenew for £40 per year and you get an email about one month before reminding you of the renewal. I rang up to cancel and they offered me 1 year subscription for £23 instead: I've got this two years in a row so its worth bearing in mind if your boys plan to play online.0 -
Xbox One is grossly overpriced. I'd advise anyone wanting to get a Xbox One to wait. There is so many 360 games out there to play in the meantime. I just started playing Minecraft and it's amazing.0

Do you play Minecraft online on PC? If so how does it compare with the Xbox version as my son currently plays on PC but wants it on Xbox?0 -

Yes, I know you're not the op. I posted in response to your post re not putting your card details on there, it reminded me that lots of people get caught out by the auto renew by having their card details saved. With this being a money saving site I posted a tip as to saving money on membership.0 -

Yes people get caught out, parents just need to be vigilant. I bet thats how the OPs son in the PS3 thread in the credit card section managed to buy content via the ps3.0 -
When I had an Xbox I never put my card details on it, I just renewed Gold via online codes.0
