Morning everyone
Hugs to all those that are feeling sad/poorly x
Light cloud, damp underfoot but not raining now. Washing to go out on the line shortly.
DH up and gone to work stupid early.
Dinner last night was HM lasagne, chips and salad for the menfolk, I had just lasagne and salad. Was lovely as hadn't made it for ages. Still have a small serving dish with a couple of portions left in it, think the boys will eat that for lunch. Tonight we're having chicken wraps with salad, will do jacket potatoes, with cheese and beans - sounds a bit of an odd mixture but I know the wraps on their own won't be enough for the menfolk here and don't really want to give them chips tonight, so jacket pots it will be.
Had a stash of treats for the trick or treaters and didn't get 1 knock at the door! The boys are delighted that we have sweets in the house - I don't normally buy anything like that!
Have all the normal Friday jobs to do, will be going to town, the bank, and then food shopping shortly. Need to continue with the ironing later. Also make some phone calls and do some work on the pc. Got our bed stripped and remade, boys beds to be done today too. If time allows will do some cooking/baking - menfolk really been grumbling because there's nothing in the tins!
Have a great Friday everyone x
Keep safe and well x

Good morning everyone
Cool and damp here but at least it's not pouring down.
Need to do a big trip to drop stuff off at the charity shop and take rubbish to the tip. Our bin day has changed this week and with the decluttering, our bin is overflowing.
No idea what else we are doing so need to get a bit organised, have a severe case of CBA syndrome today, I think it's the thought of going back to work on Monday.
Need to post a couple of little ebay parcels so will wrap those up now and it may inspire me to do something else useful.
Well wishes to all sick people and pets and hugs for those who need or just want them. Keep well and safe and have a super dayLBM 10/1/12 ~ DFW Start 6/2/12: £82,344 ~ Now Zero:staradmin:starmod::staradmin Debt free 17th April 2015 :staradmin:starmod::staradmin

Morning :hello:

I love Miss tru's new job – she came home yesterday with a bag full of free sweeties
The few trick or treaters we get are usually teenagers with a mask on. So I paid no attention to the door, turned out most of the knocks were family membersThey were slightly miffed at being ignored
I've been madly making poppies. I didn't ring to check if they needed more, I decided that I'll turn up with them and if they're not needed, I'll do my own personal yarn bomb in the dockssistercas mine haven't exactly turned out the same as the picture
I've seen other patterns since, which I prefer, but have stuck with this one so they all match, lol. What are you doing with yours?
Five of my girls are moulting. When I opened the shed door this morning, there were feathers everywhere, it looks like one giant nest
We're popping to the shops for fresh veg, etc. and will probably look at microwaves too. Not much going on today, I'll whizz the hoover round and mr tru will probably fall asleep on the sofa

Morning all,
It poured with rain last night and so, if there was any 'tricking' it doesn't appear to have been in our little garden. Lots of thumping on doors across the road and the usual screaming and swearing, but that seems to be the student community's method of communication round here, not just for Halloween.
DS2 should be home tonight for his mate's wedding - the room is ready.
Dinner will be decided when I know what time he's coming. Last night's chicken casserole was lush, even though I had to use tinned carrots as nowhere I can walk to sells loose and I didn't want to buy (or carry) a two kilo bag. The YS pie, was as expected - all pastry but DH ate it anyway.
Today I shall do more decluttering and finish sorting out the album. DH wants me to pay the refund cheque from Scottish Power into the bank - we were charged a fee when we switched last time and they have finally agreed they were wrong.
Hugs all round on this dreary All Hallows day xI can cook and sew, make flowers grow.0 -
Morning all,
Hope everyone is well. I'm glad it's Friday been another very busy week, I don't know where I found the time to go to work.
JackieO lovely to see you back, we've missed you
I get to meet my daughters new boyfriend tonight so looking forward to that.
DGS returns tonight and we are going to trick or treat and watch a scary movie.
I'm going to make a curry for anyone passing through. Who wants to eat, it's like feeding the 5000.
Fee slightly better today. It's weird since I have given up wheat just a tiny bit makes me violently I'll. It's as if I have no immunity at all to it, which it must have built up over the years of forcing my body to deal with it ifykwim.
Gonna have a shower shortly give everywhere a tidy and then have a rest before the hordes descend. Have a great Friday xStarted Self Managed DMP 10th May 2017.

Hi everyone,
JO, glad you're back, you were missed.
I'm full of cold and am supposed to be meeting my Sis-in-law and friends in St Albans, then bringing her back here. I don't really feel like it!
DD sent some spectacular photos of Iceland, I would like to go there one day.
We are supposed to be completing on the Yorkshire house next Friday but the contracts still haven't been exchanged. It seems to be a regular thing camelot, I don't know if it's the solicitor's dragging their feet when they get the deposit, it must make them a fair few pounds in interest if they do it to everyone. I know they are supposed to refund any interest but my DS and GF have been chasing their solicitor without success for it because their deposit was sitting in the solicitor's account for a couple of months grr.
We had no trick or treaters, I find it a bit sad because this road had lots of children when my two were small but there are none now.0 -
tru I'm going to put them with the normal poppies for sale at work and hopefully people will donate in the official box . We have a lot of old peeps who I think might like them . I'm not making many my concentration is a bit carp
. I've made 4 up to now :j

Morning,
Dry at the moment here but chilly and dull, more rain expected later.
Washing in TD and airer.
We have men renewing the path, they started yesterday but because we were out all day I didn't hear them. Bit noisy today though
Think I'll take myself out later for a bit of peace.
DD is coming home tomorrow night, she going from work to her friend's house as she is to be a bridesmaid for her next year, then she's coming here to sleep and going home on Sunday. It will be so lovely to see her if only for a short time.
Haven't decided what's for tea yet.
Have a good day.0
