Feeling a bit over whelmed, I'm on annual leave and getting a load of hassle from work :( really do not think that is fair.
I have an IN - face cream to test so not a purchase. :)

Trying to get the £5 Amazon voucher to work but been trying all day and not getting anywhere. Probably just as well ...:o
Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.
Take time but don't waste time

Turn your phone off - annual leave means you should not be even thinking about work, and they certainly shouldn't be contacting you
  • Turn your phone off - annual leave means you should not be even thinking about work, and they certainly shouldn't be contacting you

It depends, my housemate says having a company mobile means they expect him to be available 24/7, even if he's in Australia/asleep  The only excuses are if you're somewhere you can't have a mobile on (flying, funeral, hospital).

asset - if you're not like my housemate, turn your phone off, if you are, then just ask them if it can wait til you get back.

I'm in to report a UU: Aloe Vera soap, complimentary from a hotel stay.
  • UU

Lush green bath bomb - this was a limited edition for a rare disease charity and im unsure of the name. WNBA made the bath a wonderful green colour but didnt have much fragrance.

5ml Sante Verde aloe vera hydro repair gel 5ml - Have used this on my now scaly eyelids in an attempt to remoisturise. It applied like water and had about as much effect. WNBA.
    No more buying toiletries
  • Asset, I'm so sorry that your company is giving you such carp again. Gits.
Absolutely naff all to report on the toiletries front, other than resisting temptation.
I went to the gym today, hooray, enjoyed it too, but with my mobility and balance being rubbish, I didn't risk having a shower there afterwards. I've just realised that they probably do have a shower there for wheelchair users, that might be OK for me.
They have a sauna too which sounds so tempting. I love saunas and it's years since I had one.
Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.
  • It's been bitterly cold here. -24 last week and then the windchill took it down even further. So handcream and body lotions are being applied all over!

    UU:

Yucca Root Shampoo by Nick Chavez. 2 x 60ml tubes. It's moisturizing and I really liked it. BUT it's only available from the tv shopping place and the shipping is skyhigh. So very unlikely to be repurchased.

Estee Lauder Signature Lipstick in Frosted Plum. Yes, a rare use up indeed. One of the few lipsticks, I've actually paid for. Colour discontinued. So that solves that problem.

Body Shop Spiced Vanilla Handcream. 30ml. Not big on vanilla scents but the husband liked it. Will see what my boys get me for Christmas.

Live Clean (Fresh Face) facial wipes (30 count) Botanical Orchid- C- complex. Took the makeup off. It's a face wipe and honestly, I like the texture of the ones made in Europe better than the ones in North America.

Gave away a tube of handcream from Ahava to a coworker. It was just too strong for me but she liked it.

My fitness class is having a drive for a womens shelter and are looking for makeup, cosmetic bags and toiletries. So, I'm going through the stash and doing a makeup bag with mascara, a pencil, blush or bronzer, lipstick/gloss, eye makeup, lotion and new socks. So far I've done three and still have a few to go.

Hope the weather is warmer with you, cause I'm freezing.
  • Just one UU for me, they seem to be slowing down a little bit.

    38. So White bath bomb - WBA, I love this. Probably will get a couple for Christmas.

That means I only have one bath bomb in the stash, so that area is now reasonable, along with shampoo and conditioner!
No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries in January!
    UU: 5, IN: 2
Total Stash: 99 - ultimate target 33 (year start 99)
  • Popping in between packing orders and whatnot...

Chucked some facemask and listed 4 items on ebay...

    *runs off*
    Cookie, I think you're tame. :heart2:

The Elemis Tri-enzyme wash is not a cleanser, it is a post cleanse treatment wash to resurface the skin. However, it can be used to freshen your face in the morning, but it is not a make-up remover.

Elemis recommend that you cleanse your face before you use this treatment wash.

Ah, that explains a lot then. Thank you Pootle.

Another UU from the PP List : 50ml Boots Extracts Honey Body Butter. Did double up on the application this morning however cos once finished I only had enough to cover my arms again so they got double dose. :rotfl:

I'm going to TA the No 7 hand cream tonight cos it smells funny and is very runny. So another item to tick off.

Only 4 days left of November ladies and I may finish off the Elemis eye serum but not sure if anything else on the PP list will go by then. Will carry those items over to December.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!
