Finally got round to taking a picture, taken over an hour to get this lot in one place. Feel ashamed - this isn't including the half used sun cream, self tan and cosmetics - they need a photo of their own!

Hi everyone :) just back from holiday so away to catch up on the thread. Had a fab week away in the sun, but almost enjoyed the coldness since coming back - it was so hot.
Have quite a few UU - mini shower gel/ several shampoo sachets. Bit miffed they took my scissors off me in my hand luggage on the way home  got them out the country ok. Most annoying as they were nice.

Anyone else order the Lloyds 6 for £5 offer a few weeks ago? Mine turned up but I only got 4 items   just trying to find out if this happened to anyone else? I will contact them on Monday to complain. :(

Don't be ashamed, you are in good company:rotfl:Just get planning what you are going to try and use up first in each category and separate them from the rest and keep plodding on, it is amazing how much we can use once we start to target things.

I have been using a La roche posay toner and I stupidly used it on my eye region - it has dried my eyelids out and left them red and sore - not a good look and will probably only get worse as I think the skin will peel. Think ive gained the idiot of the month award.
I had no idea you couldn't use toner on the eye area - I don't use toner. I'm sure it would be all too easy to dab it across your eyes without thinking, as you did the rest of your face.

There was toner in a Simple set I gifted to my grand-daughter last month; bit worried now, hope she reads the bottle, though Simple is very gentle stuff.

Re toner - I always swipe it across my eye area and have never had any problems.

I use Pixi Glow Tonic and use it across my eyes and lips whilst toning my face and never had any problems, but I would NEVER use my Alpha H Liquid Gold near my eyes or lips.

    Right 2 UUs today...

Philosophy Unconditional Love shower gel 473ml - WNBA. I liked the smell but I am so over Philosophy shower gels, etc. Don't get me wrong, I still love them but I do think they are soooooo overpriced. I'd rather spend my money on decent skincare products for my face than a shower gel. That said, I would buy if I saw a bargain.

Ralph Lauren Notorious 1.5ml sample - WNBA. It was too peppery/spicy for me. I prefer sweet, musky scents, so although pleasant enough, not for me.

    No INs! :T

After sitting on my hands all month with nothing bought in I finally caved after all the talk of Elemis GWPs and went and ordered a couple of things from lookfantastic; justified by the fact that I won't have to count them until December. :D

Ok looking for some guidance here people - I love Nuxe Creme Prodigieuse moisturiser - rrp £19 odd, although Escentual usually have it in their 3rd off French Pharmacy promotion (not running currently).

I do need to get some because my skin is kicking off big time -

I found this kit on M&S for £30 (have a 20% off coupon so £24 less cashback via Topcashback)
    http://www.marksandspencer.com/NUXE-Christmas-Prodigieuse%C2%AE-worth-%C2%A354-50/dp/B002F6FY12?ie=UTF8&ref=sr_1_1&nodeId=192659031&sr=1-1&qid=1385232707&pf_rd_r=0W3PNQ1T1PDPQ1W8MCKB&pf_rd_m=A2BO0OYVBKIQJM&pf_rd_t=301&pf_rd_i=0&pf_rd_p=321381407&pf_rd_s=center-3

    OR

I could get this set from the Nuxe website for £28
    https://uk.nuxe.com/prodigious-christmas-saving-11.20-275/sets

Along with BOGOF hand cream (£10)
    https://uk.nuxe.com/reve-de-miel-duo-hand-cream-one-for-free-291/reve-de-miel-nourishment

    And get:
    A free candle
    A bunch of samples
A set of 3 Reve de Miel travel sizes
A mini product of my choice from a selection

I possibly feel like the M&S set is better value as I think I'll like the eye cream. I'm not mad on the huile oil but I could always ebay them.

I don't know what to doooo
  • Moromir - if you don't NEED everything that comes with the nuxe set, then get the M&S one. It will cost you less, and won't add so much to your stash. It's really hard sometimes, although it seems like a bargain, it's not worth spending more money just so you can get a bunch of things you don't need.

I am starting to worry that November is coming to an end, and I don't seem to have very much close to finishing. Will give it one final push, but at the very least, I have managed more OUTs than INs this month, and that is the right direction to be headed in!
  • Moromir, how much would the oil go for on eBay?
If you factor that in you will get two items you'd like for less than £24.
BUT if you're as bad as me, it'll sit in a pile to eBay one day...

It's a hard one. The samples with the other offer, are they things you've used before or would like to try?

I'd definately use and enjoy the candles, hand cream always gets used.

The oil would go for approx £8 i think and I'd use the travel sizes np.

I think Mini is talking sense really - now to convince myself lol.
