What is your BARCLAYCARD Credit Limit ??

10K platinum opening limit really helped me out of hole as able BT 9k 0% 22 months limit not changed in nearly 3 years of use.

My barclaycard used to be an Egg card and when they got bought up by barclaycard it was moved across. I still get 1% cashback and (this is the clincher) an extra 12 months guarantee on electrical goods over £50 - my washing machine died at 22 months old and they gave me a full refund!

My limit was £6k but I needed to borrow £10k in a hurry a few months ago and they increased the limit without any problem. I never ended up using it but took out a 0% card with another company and they gave me a limit of more than £10k straight off the bat. 1.5% balance transfer fee, 22 months at 0% and 1% minimum payments per month.

i had a blue Barclaycard for 3 or 4 years with a stubbornly static £380 limit, with other cards coming & going with much higher limits. i have merged several cards over the years, with new applications for spending and BT cards. i currently have 2 cards with a total limit of £37.9k.
