For those of you with a barclaycard, what is was the barclaycard credit limit given to you at the beginning ?

and did what did the limit increase to, as years went on?

(and was this subject to you asking? or they increased it automatically ?)
and how many months were these increases done after ?

I prefer not to mention such personal details.

So why bother responding? Or why bother even reading the thread if sharing personal information like this offends you?

I recently got a Barclaycard Freedom with 27 month 0% APR on balance transfers. They gave me a whopping £6800 limit even though I only asked to transfer £2000.

Considering asking them to reduce the limit as I'm not sure how making any additional purchases on top of the Balance transfer might work.

I'm quite happy to read this thread Bailey101, I'm not offended at all.

I personally would not divulge such details as it could be a security risk and it is possible to be traced on this forum.

It is nice to read about peoples limits, it is interesting.

So you're happy for other people to take 'security risks' but not yourself?

Started at £850 when I was 18/19, currently £7,210. All auto increases, I've never asked for one.
