Gun Metal grey, but really want matt black so it looks even meaner
Edit IMO there are strict rules for cars
German Cars - Suitably Teutonic Metallic shades of silver, titanium
Italian Sports Cars - Red or Yellow
Jap Sports Cars - Black or Black or silver
Small Cars - White NEVER on a car bigger than a Fiesta (Except on a Type R)

agree with the jap cars, but had the misfortune of seeing a DB9 in white t'other day. Spoilt a beautiful car IMO. It looked like a tablet!:A MSE's turbo-charged CurlyWurlyGirly:AThinks Naughty Things Too Much Clique Member No 3, 4 & 5

I buy my cars second-hand so I don't get a choice of colour. By the time I've found the specification I want in terms of engine size and extras, I'm down to a single choice - and it's usually red or silver. My present car is silver with a slightly bronze tint. Not ideal: it merges into a wet road quite nicely so I've fitted reflective stripes to it.0

i have a yellow vw beetle who is called daisy.
she has got a tiny boot so i have bought a roof box which im going to put white daisy stickers on.:rotfl:
she is like my 3rd child, and even better, she annoys my ex every time he sees her as i bought her after he left without consullting him.:jsusiesue
Julius Caesar, and the roman empire, couldn't conquer the blue sky0 -
light blue, wanted a more rich blue but I didn't see the point in paying a lot more for just a different colour of paint0

I have an "apollo red" car which is sort of a dark red, although being old the colour has faded and mixed paint from dealers no longer matches the paint on the car.
Paint has recently started falling off bits of my sills due to rust. Rather than go out and get a can of specially mixed mismatched paint, I went out and bought a can of smooth black hammerite direct to rust paint. Hopefully it...
- won't react with the existing paint as the can warns to check for.
- will help keep the rust at bay for at least one or two more MOT's before the car goes to the scrap.
- won't look too silly (some cars have black plastic covered sills anyway).0 -
I've got a dark green one now. Did have a white one and it looked dirty very quickly, also the rust showed up badly against the white too.0

Funnily enough, Mrs V has a car to match the OP's name!
A Garnet Red Mx5 Montana - only 250 made in this colour! It's pearlescent, so really sparkles in the sun & looks great, in twilight too.
My Omega is Magic grey & looks pretty smart, still, although it's nearly 10years old!!
& it's my job to keep them looking good, too!!
If I had my choice, though - YELLOW all the time. Well on sporty models, anyway!!

I've got a bright green car and a dark blue one, but i love the bright green one as you say easy to find in car parks.Mine has been unlucky it's been hit twice while it's been parked! i was so mad.Sadly i have to sell it soon.
But i love the colour!!!
I wouldn't buy a white car , i like metallic paint.0
