The week after I took my £90 cash, my DH bought some tickets with ticketmaster where I could have got £100.
So perhaps don't be too hasty if you still have Xmas shopping to do but familiarise yourself with the offers.

No complaints here I'm just trying to work out what to do.

    Not a traveller unfortunately.

I'm trying to calculate how the points are earned on normal expenses as I have 4k at the moment.

I thought it was 1 point per £1 but 2 points in supermarkets and petrol but it's not adding up correctly.

I would give them a call on the number on the back of the card.
Last time I called it was a geographic number, they were UK based and seemed knowledgeable (not just reading from a script).

If your looking on-line it might not include the last 2 days and if you're lokoing at a statement there's a cutoff of 4-6 days before the statement date.
They do a number of promotions so if you have more I wouldn't worry about it.
If you have less that you think you should have and it's not anything excluded or very recent then I think you'll need to call them.

Thanks. It's more so I'll leave it :D
  • If you look at their website you can go through to the MR statement and it will show you every transaction and how many points it earned.

If you spend at least £2000 in 3 months you can get £100 in rewards.

What I'm wondering is when is the 3 month cutoff?

I received my card 20/09/13, but their statement date is the 3rd of the month.

So I have just received my third statement, but have only had the card for 2 months 1 1/2 weeks.

Anyone know if they are sneaky and insist that the third statement date was the cutoff?

    thank you!

I am pretty sure it is 90 days from 'account opening' - call them and they will be abel to tell you when the account was opened.

I found that with ordinary points on the 2k spend I actually had nearly 24000 points by the time I got my bonus and converted these to Nectar points worth 120 quid in Sainsburies where we shop most weeks anyway so pretty much as good as cash.

The 2 months thing is great as youcan then close the account and reapply 6 months later compared to most cashback cards where you have to wait 12 months before you get your money. don't forget to apply through quidco/topcashback. £10 currently but they often have £25/£45.
    I think....

If you goto your account online, there is a section telling you exactly which day is the end of your 3 month period.

My account is opened on 24/10. Membership starts at 01/11 and the end date (for 2000 spending) is shown as 31/01/14. So it's three month of your membership.

I belive membership/account opening starts before you receive the card.
Mine was more like a few days.
2 1/2 weeks seems long so I would give them a call.

I don't think it's deliberately sneaky it's just the two systems (account opening and card issuing) aren't tied up.
