  • I was stupid enough to fall for this, after reading this forum I have contacted my bank and cancelled my card to hopefully avoid them being able to charge me. It said free 3 month trial just 5 pounds for the delivery and then I saw that it was 152 pounds they where going to charge…horrified about to be sick with dread to be fair never bought anything like this before and now I will never do.

Does anyone have the return address or any other detail that could be useful if they do manage to charge me? thank you

Have a look through the thread mentioned in post #3.

    Here is the link again:
Oh, and I'm sorry to say that cancelling your card will not have the desired effect.
  • apologies for the forthcoming rant,
My wife purchased Ketone Raspberry diet pills through facebook and paid £7.99 for a trial unaware that the company would take another £150 from her account 2 weeks later.
after contacting the company to complain they werent interested and blamed her for not cancelling her account after her "free" trial. after several phone calls and getting passed to what seems like a united nations call centre (where everyone strangely has very english names) she eventually got her account cancelled and was promised a refund of only £60 (better than nothing i suppose). she contacted her bank and informed them not to let anymore payments go to this company. 2 days later £60 gets refunded back into her account but £49 was taken by the same company for some green coffee pills? she has never ordered or received any pills (other than her original "free" trial).
When she phoned them today to complain again the woman on the phone laughed at her and the phone went quiet various times throughout the conversation. she was informed that there was nothing they could do as her account was "closed".
this has left my wife very stressed and emotional as what to us is a lot of money has been "stolen" from her account and the culprits arent interested as long as they get their cut.
she has been given a p.o box 7574, milton keynes, mk11 9gq address to send her remaining trial pills back to but after reading the various posts on this webpage i am not convinced about this return address or hopes of any refund.

i would like to say to other people to please not get sucked in by their lies and deception and just not deal with them at all. i'm sure better alternatives are available from high street chemists or holland & barrett.

Unfortunately this proves there is no such thing as FREE. And that's quite apart from the fact that the tablets themselves are a complete load of snake oil. Ketones aren't some fantastic new science, and they certainly don't have anything at all with weight loss unless you are on the very precise diet that some people find works to prevent epileptic seizures, and ketones are the unfortunate side-effect. I found that when I was really strapped for money and only had £10 a week to spend on the shopping, I was at my lightest and leanest. I didn't have the money to spend on cakes and biscuits etc so not surprisingly, I lost weight.
