  • No nsd today brought my dad a Christmas card because it immediately thought of him so had to get it and I brought a necklace & a bracelet which was on sale in H'n'M ... After a rubbish month I decided to indulge myself a little.

Aw beanie - don't bow out....you were up to 11 / 14 when you last declared so only 3 more to go.....go on, you can do it :)

ETO - well done on reaching your target. I know you can't really say that to yourself when doing the update but we notice these things :A :j :A

And I managed # 7 /20 today. Won't be one tomorrow as I'm off to a friend's for dinner and need to get a bottle of wine and a wee something for her girls. Thank goodness tomorrow's Friday

Oh, and the front page is all updated as is the in-a-row challenge. Thanks for updating sazzie :A

    [QUOTE=
Saver-upper - well done on NSD # 9. :j:j I'm a little confused as you declared number 8 prior to my last update, hope if haven't missed you admitting to a spend. So I make you hitting NSD # 9[/QUOTE]

Sorry MissE001.As if your job isn't hard enough without individuals messing up their own counting.....
    Start again:
    17-11 was NSD#7,not 8 as declared by me(cos #6 was 14-11).
    20-11 was NSD#8.
    So .............

    NSD#9 for today(21-11).
Gosh, confusing for me,and it's supposed to be ME that's in control of this budget!!!!

Today would have been a bit spendy(just top-up groceries),but the car wouldn't start this morning,so couldn't get anywhere near a shop.Every cloud etc etc etc .

Thank you everone for such a lovely encouraging thread:it has been great to really start thinking about where the money goes.It does make me ask "Do I really need this?Wouldn't I prefer a NSD instead?Do I have the energy to push this car if it runs out of petrol today:can it last til my spend day tomorrow?":rotfl:

    Debt-free and Proud!
    Good afternoon,

Managed to resist the food vans for 2 days in a row meaning another 2 nsd's bringing my total to 10 NSD.

I have found myself nipping out for chocolate when I already have lunch with me, I should maybe do 'no van days'!

    Happy Friday everyone :)

Should have been another NSD today but decided to use some of November's underspend on the food budget to replace our broken toaster! Sure it will save money in the long run too as currently using the grill!
