  • Today was a spend day as I went to Mr A's 'for a few bits' and came out £95 down!!!
Managed to have a stupid 'oh stuff it' moment and just buy whatever I fancied! £18 of that was Xmas presents which is productive for planning ahead but disappointed with myself for spending a ridiculous £73 on groceries! Well and truly blown my Grocery budget but its the first time I've done it and I realise now how much I spend on food! Especially takeaways as approx £40 of the budget was spent on pizzas/kebabs/Chinese etc so it will make me think twice next time!

ETO -I had very bad experience with Bacardi breezers once, in face it was Xmas eve on the first time I met my OH family, ALL of them, we'd gone out for the night and frankly I'm amazed I made it through Xmas dinner ok, did feel a bit queasy at morning mass though, now that would have gone done well with the FIL...not! :rotfl:

Anothet NSD here, picked up a few bits along with some Xmas crisps while on offer in morries now stashed away, but cost from grocery budget.

I'd like to say things are better, but actually had two more lots of the same kind of news I got on Monday today, not to the same extent but still sad to say the least. I've never known, and hope I never see another week like it.

Hugs to all who need them, even if mine are a bit wrung out ATM.

  • having an ABSOLUTE nightmare, not managed one NSD yet!

Keep forgetting things, needing petrol, guinea pig food, working late, doing a bit of quiet Christmas shopping.

    Good Luck XXXX
    Nevertheless she persisted.
  • Well,I thought I was doing so well today. Was sure I would get away with being NSD today.
Had forgotten there was going to be a cake-stall after school today,so didn't even have cash on me to spend on that(but kids didn't go without:my son had taken his own pocket money to school to buy cakes, then found another 50p in the schoolyard at lunchtime :money::money:.So enough to buy cakes for himself and his sisters :D)
The only small spend that did ruin my NSD was 50p for photocopying at the library.Never mind.

I like to think tomorrow will be NSD,but I did notice petrol tank abit low after OH drove long distance for work today.

Great work, everyone, with collecting NSD(don't we get some big numbers around here??),and thank you ETO for the updates :T

  • Not a NSD here. Hubby is off this week and eating us out of house and home! I'm seriously considering giving him rations next week!

Tomorrow is looking good for another. He can't possibly empty the cupboards in a day.

Hope everyone is happy and healthy

    Good Evening Folks:),

A very cold and wet day in NI today, although we can really expect nothing else mid November I suppose. I didn't make the gym today, as my back is still sore, but am definitely going to spin at 6.45am tomorrow:).
No NSD today, as I paid a bill:eek:
I hope everyone is well and am sending hugs to anyone who needs them:)
