Online hotel booking!!

So....firstly I'm not stupid, just being a bit cheeky and testing the system....but:
I booked a 5 star hotel today on line, hotel only 7 nights all inclusive abroad, for a ridiculous price!! Im talking really ridiculous. But thought " hey, if it lets me book it and pay, then surely thats contractual obligation right???!"
Am i right or wrong and are they able to just revoke the booking because its a mistake?
 if not happy days :T

Ps. They have taken my money and sent me booking confirmation documents!0

What country is it?
It might be incredibly cheap because its somewhere that is extremely poor and run down!
Try other dates and see how much they cost. If your week is obviously abnormally cheaper then they will probably notice the error and cancel your room as the date gets nearer.
I would be reluctant to book flights based on a hotel reservation that may be cancelled. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
What do the T&C's state in relation to their right to cancel/liability/errors?You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0

Nope its cape verde islands. Not run down and defo a mistake on pricing.
But i was just wondering if they were allowed to do that, is there any law stating they have to oblige.0 -
It depends when the T&Cs state the contract is concludedOne important thing to remember is that when you get to the end of this sentence, you'll realise it's just my sig.0

Ive read the sites t&c and it says nada re the wrong pricing. I woula assume it falls with the hotel as thy have gone through the final booking process and confirmed. Ive got an accommodation voucher!
The hotels t&cs are a little more complicated to understand!!!0 -

You'd have to check your T&C's but usually they have a clause about confirmation not actually being confirmation and if they cant provide what is agreed, they'll do xyz alternatives (which usually includes a refund).
Is it (i'm sure goater asked this already) off peak perhaps? You do get holidays ridiculously cheap sometimes. I remember going all inclusive at a 4* for £56 per week around 10 years ago at end of November (where the same would cost £400+ a week in September). You keep using that word. Can you perhaps provide a link so we can try make heads or tails of them?
Does the sites T&Cs say the contract is between you and them or you and the hotel? You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0 -
Ok so this is a snippet from the holiday booking site:
'For each booking you make your contract for that booking is with the relevant supplier whether that is an airline or an accommodation provider; if you have made more than one booking for travel at the same time you will have separate contracts with each supplier. Please see paragraph 1.2 below in relation to financial protection arrangements.'
2.4 A legally binding contract will be created between you and the third party provider of the travel product(s) you have booked.
.1 Your contract for your booking is with the relevant supplier. It is that supplier which is responsible for anything which goes wrong with your booking.
8.2 We have no liability or responsibility for anything which goes wrong with your booking unless caused by our own negligence or that of our servants or agents. Since we act solely as an agent processing your booking the only circumstances in which we are likely to be negligent is in relation to the provision of dates or other information between you and the relevant supplier.0 -
The hotel is just a legal notice regarding the usage of data not actual booking. Im digging...0
