Persuaded daughter to sign up with 1899 so she can use the 0808 number as she's on Telewest. So she signed up using their web site on Friday (22nd). Three days later and she's received no email acknowledgement or query and (at the last attempt) her number wasn't recognised to allow her to start using the service. Is this…

Just done it and it worked - thanks.
I tried putting a mobile first and then landlines and it refused it, so you're right - just put in a mobile number and go back and change it later.
